Gabrielle talked about how she and her company were working with the supply chain to create digital twins of textiles and what makes a high-quality digital material. Using advanced technology, they scanned fabrics at source in Dhaka, Bangladesh to ensure digital accessibility and inclusivity throughout the supply chain. Moving from legacy workflows to digital product development can be daunting, but Gabby’s mission is to empower manufacturers and factories to innovate today for a more sustainable tomorrow.

Speaker’s Bio

Gabrielle leads the technology adoption and quality development of Bureau 555 and has worked in design and manufacturing for over 20 years, she brings with her a background in training designers and product developers on software to simulate fabrics. Gabby previously held the post of Course Leader for the BA (Hons) Fashion Buying and Brand Management course at Ravensbourne University London and is the founder of “shinerhilldesign” consultancy. She is trained in Textile Design at Central St.Martins.
Through her company Bureau 555, she helps brands and manufacturers create high-quality 3D samples by utilizing fast digital workflows so they can reduce their lead times, costs and waste.
